THE IMPLEMENTATION
What does a garment really cost?
PRICE TAG does not begin on the runway.
And it does not end there either.
The implementation of the event arose from a shared idea by Sven Appelt, Andreas Fux, and Sven Bergholz.
Together, they developed an evening that combines elements of a gallery, a video installation, a performance, and a fashion show.
Because the real question is not:
"What does a garment look like?"
But rather:
"What price do people pay for this garment?"
Not the price on the tag.
Not the price at the checkout.
But the human price.
The time.
The labor.
The responsibility.
The story.
PRICE TAG therefore connects fashion with film, photography, music, art, and social reflection.
Guests are not entering a classic fashion show.
They are entering a production.
A world of images, voices, memories, and questions.
While models present the collection, video installations tell the story behind consumption. Artistic installations, photographs, and performative elements expand the show into a total experience.
This is not about naming culprits.
It is about making visible what often remains invisible.
The people behind products.
The labor behind creativity.
And the question of what value we truly assign to things.
PRICE TAG is therefore neither an exhibition nor a fashion show.
It is an artistic experience.
A reflection on consumption, responsibility, and perception.
And perhaps exactly the kind of event one does not attend because one loves fashion.
But because one wants to understand why fashion has meaning at all.
Because some events you see.
And some events stay with you.
PRICE TAG was created for exactly that.
